Genuine Volvo Penta Parts and Reman components are covered by a standard 12 month warranty. All parts and accessories supplied and installed by our authorized Volvo Penta workshops are covered by a 24-month warranty. The fitted parts warranty is either for 24 months, 600 hours (for leisure use) or 3,000 hours (for commercial use), whichever comes first. Your warranty protection will also cover any labor required.

Electronic Vessel Control (EVC) and EVC Generation Upgrade
EVC is Volvo Penta’s drive-by-wire system that connects multiple helm stations with engines and drives. The EVC system controls and monitors the complete Volvo Penta delivery including throttle, gearshift, steering and trim.
EVC Generation Upgrade
With EVC technology’s rapid advancement, results included the need to replace or discontinue older style components and technology. To support customers with spare parts in the future, Volvo Penta recognized the need to address the challenge of the array of EVC generations. With EVC-E already having the largest user base, the decision was made to upgrade all EVC-ec A to D generations to the latest EVC-E version, EVC-E4.
Reman engines and parts
Remanufacturing, often referred to as “reman”, is the process of restoring used or worn-out components to a like-new condition. This involves disassembling the product, cleaning, repairing, and replacing worn parts, and reassembling it to meet original specifications.
The goal is to ensure that the remanufactured product performs as reliably as a new one, with the same warranty.
