D2 Engine Range

This feature combined with the smooth operation from enabling lower engine speed, combined with an inlet silencer and the reduced vibration levels from the dynamically balanced design and efficient rubber isolation, also helps reduce noise levels and improves onboard comfort.

These Volvo Penta Compact engines are designed for durability, the rigid engine block and one-piece cylinder head are design features of these marine diesel engines to ensure they are strong. The durable design contributes to reliability and performance, with the added benefit of extended service life. Combined with high-capacity charging as a standard feature to add to reliable nature of the engine, supporting higher battery capacity. The 115A alternator provides more than 35A at idle, and at cruising speed approximately 100A.
